A Lot Has Happened!

Tay putting her toys on the tree.

Chad and Shane with the ducks..i'm not for sure who was with them taking the pic.

Me and Tay and the deer...it was a LONG was away and we didn't get a very good look at it...but hey, there's always next year....and Tay enjoyed it!!

Hope everyone has had a good holiday. Now it's time for my favorite!! I really enjoyed being around the family this Thanksgiving and I know Taylor did too. Since the last time I've posted I killed a deer, duck season came in (so we won't see Chad for like two months) and Chad, Taylor and I put up this Christmas tree. I usually have a lot of decorations on it but this year since Taylor will probably be hard to handle, we decided to put up a small tree with very few (non breakable) ornaments. This year I call it the "country tree" because it has all hunting or animal ornaments. Chad's mom gets us hunting ornaments every year so we decided to do the tree in that this year. Taylor is having fun finding all the different animals when we ask where they are...she's so smart!! She's also enjoying the colorful lights. When we were decorating it she decided to put her toys on in too...how sweet is that??

Taylor & Tinslea's trip to Rainforest Cafe

OK picture a 1 year old and a 2 1/2 year girl eating a pleasant dinner with her family and look beside her and see this...uh yeah they're going to be scared....
When they started moving, Taylor did not take her eyes off of it...more pictures to come of poor Tinslea Gracyn, she was scared to death.

Our beautiful princess finally took her eyes off of the monkey to say, "cheese!"

RAIN FOREST CAFE

Tinslea was absolutely scared to death of the monkeys!
Taylor wasn't scared of the monkeys...just wanted to watch them...CLOSELY!

Tinslea crying when the storm came at the cafe...JoJo will take care of her!!

Tinslea wanted in the stroller with Taylor...Chad said we're going to have a hard time keeping them apart when they're older...looks like it's starting early!

Wanted to throw this one in ...Taylor's Halloween costume. I only had one picture of her because my camera went dead. She was an octopus...how sweet!

She Doesn't Let Anything Go to Waste!

Taylor keeps us busy. We try to let her go and do as she pleases to let her learn but here lately we've got to be right with her. Some of the things she does you just have to sit back and laugh. I was hanging up her clothes in her closet when I heard her "slurping". I thought, "What in the world is she doing?" I turned around to see that she had split her cup of milk in the floor and she was on her hands and knees slurping it up. Earlier today she had spilt her cup (on purpose) and I didn't give her anymore...I guess she just thought I wasn't going to give her anymore.

Been a Busy Week!!

What all has happened since I have posted last?? We had the yard sale Saturday morning...which was FREEZING! Saturday night we had the hay ride. It seemed to have warmed up that night...weird. But it was a lot of fun. We originally planned for Taylor to ride in the cab with Allen because we thought it would be too cold on her. However, when she saw everyone on the trailor she had to be with everyone else. She had a huge jacket on and was covered up with a blanket so she really didn't get cold! Sunday, our alarm clock (Taylor) didn't go off until 11:00 so we missed church. We decided to go see Cindy at Jessi's while Hunter, Jake and Charlie went hunting. Yay Hunt: he got a buck! The rest of the week I spent studying for a HUGE midterm I had today...thank goodness it's over. I got a phone call yesterday saying I got the job at the bank!!!! I start Monday and I'm so excited! It's going to be hard being away from Chad and Taylor but I am so thankful to get this work experience!! Chad's back to work so tonight me and Taylor are going to clean house and then snuggle! Hope these four days go by fast!

Chad's work week

So when Chad's working nights he usually sleeps until it's about 4. From 4 to 5 (when he leaves) we eat dinner and try to cram in our family time. Family time means so much to us. We take Taylor outside and let her play in her playhouse all the time. Chad thought she was so cute wearing her new Mossy Oak boots outside today. He said "you've got to take a picture of us, she's just too cute!" If you haven't been able to tell, yes, she is a huge daddy's girl. Taylor loves her dog. She wanted Lady to get in the house with her today.....Lady didn't want to.
This is Taylor eating Hamburger Helper...which she and I LOVE. (Chad hates it!!!) She had like two servings of it and wanted more!!!!

So thank goodness this is Chad's last night. We miss him throughout the week! We're having a yard sale Saturday morning at Grandma's and then Josh's 2nd annual hay ride that night...CAN'T WAIT!! :)

Happy Birthday Jake!

Tinslea and Jake riding Davie

Birthday Boy Jake and his new guitar
Tinslea hitting the pinata (and almost hitting Jessi)

Aunt Jessi helping Taylor Mae hit the pinata. She did so good!!!

Taylor playing in the bouncer.

So today Chad, Taylor and myself went to our nephew's birthday party. We had a really good time. The kids played in the bouncy thing that we had at Taylor's birthday party, had a silly string fight (which was too funny) and at the end they all took rides of their pony, "Davie". (Minus Taylor, who was scared to death of it.) I'm sure everyone has heard Jonnica say sometime or another that something was "definitely blog material." Well today, bless her heart, Jonnica said something that was definitely blog material. Tinslea was riding Davie and kept saying "I'm a cowgirl" when Jonnica pops off with "I mean Davie has been the same size for like 3 years." Uh yeah Jonnica, it's a pony, they don't get any bigger!!!!!!!!! That's almost as bad as Chad going up the escalator backwards. But it's ok we still love her. Comments like that keep our family get togethers exciting.

We're boring!!

She has had a ball playing in her playhouse that her gran gran got her. She loves ringing the doorbell and playing in the fountain.
This is on her daddy's bday. He killed a turkey, finally!!

So Chad's on nights this week. We hate nights but we're not complaining!!!! I try to make plans for Taylor while he is sleeping during the day. Thank goodness he's off for 4 days though!

A Catch Up Of Taylor.

Taylor's birthday party.
Isn't she adorable??

She opened her first present the night before from her mommy and daddy.

A Catch Up of Tay.

Taylor sleeping in her big girl car seat.
Taylor's first hair cut. Her Uncle John gave her a sucker to occupy her, I held her, her Grandma Linda held the hair in a baggy, and her daddy took the pictures. She was the sweetest little girl. She didn't even cry. Since then, she likes to comb her hair, and mine.

Taylor's first time eating cheese. She loves it.

Taylor giving her money in the offering at church. The other day she tried to take it back.

Taylor with her daddy and his deer this year. It was the biggest deer he's ever killed. We were very proud of him.

A Catch Up of Tay

Taylor at the Hot Rods game.

Taylor watching her daddy mow. She's cool!

One of Taylor's crazy faces. She has many.

Taylor playing at the park.

She loves the park.
